EDGE pilot Josh Miller scored a strong 4th place at Brands Hatch last weekend and now heads into the final round of the Intelligent Money British GT Championship in 3rd position overall and 2nd in the Silver class, just 20 points behind the silver class leaders.
The R Racing prepared #23 Aston Martin Vantage GT4 of Josh Miller and Jamie Day qualified a combined P2 and lined up on the front row of the grid for the 2 hour race.
Day took the hot seat to begin but dropped back to P6 after an opening lap skirmish. Day then kept his nose clean to hand over to Miller at the halfway stage. Having to serve a success penalty for the victory at Spa, a strong result looked doubtful, but Miller put some stellar laps in during his stint to bring the #23 Vantage up into a points scoring position in the closing stages of the race. With some fantastic lap times, awesome overtakes, and avoidance of incident ahead, Miller crossed the line a strong 4th.
This result means the duo of Miller and Day head into the final round at Donington Park on 15/16 October in 3rd place overall 20.5 points behind the leaders.
