Voisin Extends Championship Lead in Porsche Carwow Carrera Cup GB

Round three of the 2026 Porsche Carrera Cup Great Britain took place at the challenging Snetterton 300 Circuit, with EDGE Sporting Management driver Callum Voisin looking to build upon an already strong start to the championship season aboard his Century Motorsport run Rosland Gold-backed Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car.

The weekend immediately got off to a positive start as Voisin demonstrated excellent pace throughout qualifying under the championship’s revised qualifying format for 2026. The session is now split into two separate halves, with the opening segment determining the grid for Race 1 and the second half setting the grid for Race 2.

Voisin delivered strongly in both portions of the session. He secured P2 on the grid for Race 1, missing out on pole position by just 0.160 seconds, before backing that performance up with P3 for Race 2, only 0.201 seconds away from the fastest time.

Race 1 saw Voisin immediately establish himself as a genuine victory contender. After shadowing race leader Sid Smith for several laps, Voisin made the decisive move for the lead and once out front immediately controlled the pace of the race. From there, he never looked back, eventually taking the chequered flag by just under two seconds whilst also securing the fastest lap of the race in a dominant performance.

Starting Race 2 from third position, Voisin once again showcased impressive race pace in extremely demanding conditions, with soaring May temperatures adding further difficulty across the 26-minute encounter. The race developed into a thrilling battle at the front, with Voisin quickly moving into second place before setting his sights on race leader Will Jenkins.

Despite repeatedly closing the gap, each time Voisin appeared to edge closer, Jenkins responded with another increase in pace. The pair remained locked together throughout the race, with Voisin eventually crossing the finish line in second place by the incredibly narrow margin of just two tenths of a second after an intense and hard-fought contest.

The superb weekend leaves Voisin departing Norfolk as the championship leader, moving six points clear at the top of the standings heading into the next round of the championship at the Thruxton Circuit – the fastest track in the United Kingdom.
