EDGE Management driver Callum Voisin took part in his second Formula E Rookie test on Sunday 22nd March.
The sun was shining for much of the test, as 20 of motorsport’s best and brightest talents got behind the wheel of the GEN3 Evo around the Circuito del Jarama. The annual test is usually held in Berlin, but switched locations for Season 12 and is an excellent place for teams and manufacturers to find the next big Formula E star.
The 19 year old “Swinglish” driver was selected by Andretti Formula E team following an impressive Formula E Rookie outing last year with the Cupra Kiro team.
Across the two sessions of the day, Voisin lapped in both 300kw and 350kw mode, ending the day P2 in 300kw and P8 in the afternoon of the 350kw mode.
Voisin commented, ” Its been a good day, it was a little frustrating in the morning due to an error on my part resulting in fewer laps than I would of wanted but we bounced back every nicely in the afternoon. I think it was P8 overall and P2 in 300 as well so thats very positive. It’s a very fun track to drive I must say. I have really enjoyed it and the team have been absolutely incredible so thank you to them all and for the opportunity.”
