Podiums for Rowledge in Singapore

Josh Rowledge – Porsche Carrera Cup Asia – Rnd 7 – Singapore (Marina Bay)

The Porsche Carrera Cup Asia Championship brought its 2025 season to an end at the stunning Marina Bay Circuit in Singapore. Not only was this a prestigious location to host the final round, but it also ran as a support event to the world-famous Singapore Formula One Grand Prix. EDGE Sporting Management driver Josh Rowledge arrived full of confidence following a strong run of form in recent events.

With no prior experience of the demanding street circuit, Josh made an immediate impression by going 4th fastest in free practice. In Q1, he maximised the grip from new tyres to deliver a fantastic lap that put him 3rd on the grid. Q2 proved trickier, as traffic hindered his best attempt on a layout notoriously difficult for overtaking. He would start Race 1 from 6th.

In Race 1, Josh produced a superb drive. From 6th on the grid, he climbed to P3 with strong race pace and smart decision-making. Although he crossed the line in 4th, the car ahead had received a penalty for a jump start. With that information relayed over team radio, Josh wisely held position rather than risk an unnecessary move. As a result, he secured his first overall podium in the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia — a major achievement in his debut season against some of the region’s most experienced Porsche racers.

Race 2 saw Josh start from P3, and he immediately got stuck in with a brilliant move to take 2nd on the opening lap. What followed was a thrilling multi-car battle between 2nd, 3rd and 4th. Josh defended valiantly and held onto 2nd for the majority of the race. However, with two laps remaining, a small lock-up saw him run wide and drop behind the two cars he had been keeping at bay. He crossed the line in 4th — a fantastic performance nonetheless, showing excellent pace and control throughout the race weekend.

As the curtain closed on his first Porsche Carrera Cup Asia campaign, Josh secured 3rd in the Street Cup Championship — a brilliant effort for a debutant in a highly competitive field. His progression across the season was clear to see, and the Singapore weekend was a fitting way to end the year, showcasing his continued development.

Following the event, Josh thanked his sponsors, his father, and EDGE Sporting Management for putting the opportunity together and helping him continue his racing journey in Asia.
