PODIUM FOR GOFF AT GENK

GOFF – GENK RACE REPORT – RMC EURO TROPHY ROUND 3

The third round of the 2025 RMC Euro Trophy saw Europe’s top karting talent descend on the famed Karting Genk circuit in Belgium. Amongst the 75 competitors in the Rotax Max 125 Senior category, EDGE Sporting Management’s newest recruit Lewis Goff was looking to make his mark in just his first full season at this level.

Heats – Friday & Saturday

Across four fiercely contested heats, Goff showed pace, composure, and consistency in the ultra-competitive Senior field:

– Heat 1 – Started P8, finished P9
– Heat 2 – Started P7, finished P4
– Heat 3 – Started P7, finished P3
– Heat 4 – Started P8, finished P5

These results placed him P3 on the grid for the Pre-Final, a strong showing among a world-class entry list.

Finals – Sunday

In the Pre-Final, Goff held his own to finish P5, setting the stage for the all-important Final where new tyres were fitted across the field.

Launching from fifth on the grid, Goff immediately climbed to P4 and ran solidly in the lead group. Mid-race, a bold double overtake on battling rivals elevated him to P2, where he looked set for a sensational result. As the tyres began to fade late in the race, he was just unable to hold off a late challenge and crossed the line in a superb P3, securing a well-earned podium finish.

Lewis Goff:
“That was a brilliant weekend and a tough field to be up against. I’m really happy with the podium and the pace we had all weekend. Massive thanks to Sam Pollitt Racing, EDGE Sporting Management, and a special thank you to my grandad for taking the time to drive me all the way to Belgium so I could race.”

With one round remaining, Goff now sits 7th in the championship standings, firmly in contention for a top finish in the series.
